 Cherry Optical was founded in 1977 with a location in Mount Clemens, Michigan. Later that same year we moved to a larger location in Lincoln Park, Michigan. In May 2000, Cherry Optical moved to its present site in Melvindale, Michigan.
Cherry Optical began and still operates as a family business. Richard Cherry is owner and manages Cherry Optical in Michigan. His son Dan Cherry manages the AR department and his daughter Debbie Mullins manages daily operations.
The mission of Cherry Optical, Your Independent Laboratory, is to provide Eye Care Professionals with affordable and high quality products. Cherry Optical prides itself in providing the loyalty of a business partner with the assurance that we will be here when needed. We help to supply our ECP with the essentials they need to run their business with maximum efficiency and reliability.
